This evening I tagged along while my chum bought a car.
Not only did he get a great deal on a good used car with low mileage, but he also decreased his carbon footprint.

It was too dark to take a proper photo of the actual car – a 2007 Prius – so here’s one I picked up online.

I don’t drive, but I did put the passenger seat through several comfort tests. It totally passed.
When my friend told me he was considering a hybrid I began googling up articles like crazy.
A car with a battery? Would it need to be plugged in? This particular model? No. But there are some that can be.
And as often happens learning about one subject leads to another. Before I knew it I was reading everything I could find about Brazil and it’s use of sugarcane ethanol as an alternative fuel.
This is a mobile post from my phone, and I haven’t figured out cut and paste yet. Stay tuned for a post with lots of links. I just have to get myself in front of my desktop.
Till then.
Frances? You are fabulous. I don’t know if you know this through and through but you are and you give me much joy.
I’m still driving a dinosaur burner but a savy for the cutting edge tech in the alternative mobile world… I mean the real mobile… the one that physically ports you. While brushing my teeth at night you can usually find me here: http://www.greencarcongress.com
