So how are all of you?
I’m somewhere near the Lowery Street stop on the 7 line. I know because that giant red neon cross just flashed by the subway car window. If I ever open up my own coffeebar I think I’ll sit a big ole blue neon heart on top of it.
The young man to my right has those rings in his earlobes. You know the kind that stretch the lobe, so the hoop has a circle of flesh around it. I have a love-hate relationship with that look. While I applaud the guts and patience it takes to achieve it; I still ask myself Why ever would anyone want this? Whenever I see it.
The young man in front of me is reading an old-fashioned magazine. About half the people on this train are playing with some sort of electronic device.
This is when I want to stand up and ask if anyone is blogging.
I just can’t be the only one.
You know one night at Starbucks two college age girls began the registration process at WordPress.com, and it was all I could do to stay in my seat. I wanted to rush over and help. A blog was coming into existence before my very eyes. Yes, I know I’m blog crazy – any other big news.
I’m on the uptown 1 train. A man is dancing wildly to the music on his IPod. People are moving out of his way. The train is packed, but he is unaware, he is the dance.
I managed to get a pic, but he’s moving so fast he’s a blur.

Here’s my stop.
Til later.
