On the train headed home. It was an eventful morning at the hospital; Juan got up by himself and walked with his walker; as a matter of fact I found him strolling along when I got off the elevator.
He also got a real meal for lunch. Nobody ever looked happier eating hospital food.
After my visit I had a bit of brunch, and then picked up a couple of little gifts for his Welcome Home goodie bag.

Wow, it’s only 5pm and I’m really beat.
Oh before I forget here’s a shot of the Peace Fountain at St. John the Divine’s Cathedral.

And of course, this is the Cathedral itself.

This blue doggie greeted me at Columbus Circle.

So I’m wondering what you all did with your Sundays.
Hope you tell me in comments.
Ciao for now my darlings
Glad to hear Juan is on the mend
Is there a story behind the big blue dog?
The doggie is right in front of The Shops at Columbus Circle. All throughout the mall you will find genuine works of art. It’s always funt o see what they have up.
I love city art – you never know what there is to see. Sounds like a lovely thing to do on a Sunday
I took my step grandson to Boston’s Castle Island where he swam in the ocean, squirted me with sea water from time to time and exclaimed over the planes flying low to land at Logan Airport
Glad to hear your beloved is feeling better!!!
Sounds awesome. I love to see the planes coming in at the airport. They look so huge!
