Juan is sleeping, so I am doing all kinds of quiet stuff. 

My phone has been completely reformatted, and the Play Magazines app downloaded. My first purchase – Popular Science - just 99 cents for the July issue.  I have loved reading science magazines since grade school.

A hour of freewriting left me feeling centered and balanced.

Yesterday some mosquitos attacked me while I was in Jersey.  My left forearm and my right shin got the worst of it.  The left calf was wounded slightly.  This morning the areas of redness had decreased, and hopefully the anti-biotic creme  I applied will speed healing.  When you have chubby legs Cellulitis is something you want to avoid big time.

I’m on the subway heading to the East Village for lunch with my favorite mother/daughter team.  They called just as I wished you all a Happy Fourth.

Josie also called in for a bit of a chat.  It was a good catch up conversation.

six hours later

Back on the subway.  The ladies and I had brunch at Gemma, and then it walked up to Union Square.  We decided we just had to go to Target. An acquaintance from long ago used to pronounce it Tarjay, and I thought it was cute and do the same.  They picked up some cute tops.and dresses.  My big score was at Sketchers Outlet.  They were having a sale that kicked butt around the block.  I got a pair of white sneakers,  super comfy sandals and six pair of socks for less than 60 bucks. SCORE! 

Things are starting to feel normal again Thank God/Goddess.

Looking forward to getting home to a cool shower and fresh sheets.  An icy cold Diet Coke and nibbles would be nice too.
