According to this HuffPost Miami article a fund set up for Ronald Poppo collected a whooping 110 thousand dollars plus over seven weeks.

This link to the fund set up for Karen Klein raised $703,833.

Ronald Poppo is the Miami face-eating victim. He is now blind because both his eyes were plucked out of their sockets.  His nose is missing, and a large portion of the flesh on his face is mangled.  The fund is for medical care and treatment. A recently released surveillance video shows the 20 plus minute ordeal.  This is a shortened version of the same video.

Karen Klein was a school bus monitor who was verbally tormented and abused by students.  The fund was set up to give her a vacation.  The person who set up the fund hoped to raise $5000.00 for Karen.
